Post-Acute Rehabilitation Services in Olathe

Cedar Lake Village’s Hoeger House is a post-acute rehabilitation center, located on the campus of the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, KS and is operated in partnership with the Good Samaritan Society. With a caring and experienced staff, Hoeger House provides short-term rehabilitation services for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy

Physical Therapy

 

Physical therapy helps patients return to normal activities with increased muscle strength, balance and endurance as well as improves patients’ coordination following an injury or illness.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps an individual re-learn activities of daily living. Our therapists teach guests how to complete tasks using proper techniques and equipment.

Speech Therapy

Our speech pathologists work one-on-one with individual patients to regain and strengthen communication skills such as speaking, listening, writing, reading and gesturing.

 Our therapists are dedicated to providing each patient with individualized treatment programs and one-on-one therapy sessions right here in Olathe.  They provide a progressive, proactive, and multidisciplinary approach to therapy. Hoeger House is focused on each person’s needs for recovery and healing from hospitalization for surgery, injury, stroke or illness.

Rehabilitation care offers 24-hour skilled nursing care and focuses on helping people of all ages recover quickly and return home. Hoeger House accepts individuals seven days a week.

Guests are able to recover in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere as they work toward their goals. By creating an approach to therapy tailored to individual needs, our multidisciplinary team is able to focus on personal well-being, including mind, body and spirit.

 

Stay Comfortable at Hoeger House

Comfort is key. That is why we offer guests private rooms. All rooms are equipped with items a guest may need during the transition from hospital to home, such as flat-screen televisions, secure wireless internet access, private telephones and electric adjustable beds. In addition, our guests have access to many private gathering spaces and an expanded outdoor living area. For spiritual guidance and support, Hoeger House has an on-site chaplain.
